The new range of MacBooks launched last year was one of the biggest revamps that Apple has every made on their notebooks. Here is a quick review of one of my favorite 13″ notebooks, the Apple MacBook MB466LL/A.

The Apple MacBook MB466LL/A 13.3″ laptop was one of the most beautiful notebooks that I ever had the pleasure of reviewing. Regular notebooks look like an assembly of several pieces of electronic parts. The MacBook on the other hand has an organic design and looks like a single, cohesive piece of equipment, thanks to its unibody aluminum exterior. The aluminum casing has a smooth, semi-metallic surface and feels as good as it looks.

Most MacBooks have powerful graphic cards to keep up with Apple’s graphic intensive operating systems. The Apple MacBook MB466LL/A 13.3″ laptop comes with the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M processor that offers a faster graphics performance (3-5 times) that older models. It is powered by a 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and comes with 2GB of RAM (that can be upgraded to 4GB).

The Apple MacBook MB466LL/A 13.3″ laptop also has a 160GB hard drive. Compared to older models, the hard drive on this model is much more accessible, making it much easier for you to upgrade your hard drive if you need to. It also sports a new LED-backlight screen. The surface of the screen is glossy so it does reflect light very easily. On the bright side, the visuals on this new screen are pretty good, much better than its predecessors. I haven’t really used the gigantic track-pad much so I can’t say much about it (I am more of a mouse person). If you purchase the more expensive 2.4Ghz model, you will get a keyboard with back-lighting. All in all, the Apple MacBook MB466LL/A 13.3″ laptop is a great little notebook, backed with good looks and stylish designs.
